It's had greens all the way, unfortunately they were switching to the slow. But was nice to get a good look at them as they passed through.

 

Jeff, these double lens camera's aren't all there cracked up to be. They constantly moan, hate early mornings and prefer to be closer home.

I finally got my clip of the Triple header to Dereham edited tonight and here it is;-

 

Is anyone able and willing to indicate if 5972 will be having a test outing this week before it's wizardly duties on Saturday? Any details appreciated.

 

The return working from Dereham to Carnforth on the ECML at Marston (Frinkley Lane) and Gamston (near Retford):

 

The Stanier Triple Combo was on time as the ensemble saunters along the final section between Settle jn and Carnforth. Stayed dry too!

It does sound as though the scot needs some tuning up before the summer season starts.

 

According to Railcam FB page there's an ECS from Southall to Carnforth tomorrow pulled by a 47 & with 34067 tucked in.

Looks like 34046 came back from Ilford to Southall on Monday. Presume after tyre turning.
Also 60019 maybe coming from Leeming Bar to Southall next Monday (9th).

Not sure what happened to 34067's trip today but according to RTT it went from a few minutes early/on time to 47/105 minutes late around Northampton.

 

33029 is doing the honours, dragging a support coach and 34067 tender first to Carnforth.
