Cracking video Mike, lovely scenes along the coast, what a day for it.

When did the diesel get hooked on the back, it was there when we overtook at Preston.

Diesel came on the back at Preston yesterday, it did give a small push out of Preston but only for a short distance. No diesel at all today and 46115 was absolutely superb with 12 on, been told speed up Beattock was down to 28mph by somebody who had GPS.

Foggy in the central belt this morning. I could see Grangemouth and the Firth of Forth from my B&B last night. Not this morning! The forecast is not encouraging either. The passengers should get an enjoyable run, but today's pictures may be a bit dull.

Looking at the times on RTT linked yesterday - interesting to see that the Saturday trains take unusual routes: No 9 won't cross the Tay Bridge, but runs via Perth and Ladybank. 62005 will take the Shotts line after all. The track bashers will be pleased, while the photographers will have a difficult choice to make.

Our rightly optimistic looking plan was successfully completed with the Scot putting on performance to remember

Excellent footage Liam, looked superb heading round the coast. 46115 has had several excellent performances this year and I'm sure there will be many more to come; very much a credit to David Smith and WCRC.
