Today’s guest blog is written by Nic Schneider from York College. For more info on Locos in a different light check our website.

Tomorrow we will be setting up for the annual lighting competition and I hope to give you a little insight into what has become a popular evening event, open to the public.

Students studying the Production Arts (Backstage Arts) Extended Diploma course at York College are busy preparing some visual masterpieces, with the first year crew supporting the event whilst the second year group take part in the competition itself. Everyone is working hard to provide a beautiful enhancing experience that will look quite different to how the public usually perceive the museum and its exhibits. We hope you enjoy the “backstage” view and look forward to showing you the sights, sounds and smells of our hardworking team.
