Simon, did you notice which way they were facing? Just curious - I don't really want to take my stills camera if they're running tender first from Willesden to the Mid Hants! :p

Through Chiswick just after 11am. With no tripod I tried to keep the shake down to a minimum!

All three looking shiny coupled together outside Southall this morning. No sign of MGR or other heavy freight for them to pull, sadly… ;-)

Popped to Clapham Junction to see the rare three loco movement, and all was looking good (with at least two of the locos working moderately towards the station) until a nine car SWT class 159 formation emerged from the washing plant and crawled into the yard at precisely the worst moment, with plumes of steam and whistles emerging from behind the solid wall of train! Having a little time to spare, I decided to go down to West Byfleet to rescue at least some of the occasion and had a clear view with several photos. Such are the risks we take! I may post a couple of shots soon.

Oops, sorry. A double-post and I missed your question, sorry… they were facing out of London but I'm guessing you've figured that out/missed the opportunity by now.

Here are the three Pacific's on their leisurely jaunt down to Hampshire. I captured them under a gloomy sky in Badshot Lea coasting down from Aldershot DSCN1475_2.JPG

As DBS can barely find a crew for one loco, never mind three, I presume that it was only DBS on the lead engine, Braunton, and everyone else were loco support people? It was certainly Colin K as TI on 34046 and I also noticed Don Clarke's son on the shovel.

Saw a couple of videos of 60007 at York station on Tuesday and she sounded like she was missing a beat when she was reversing off to the NRM. Has she got more problems again?
