If they want to raise the money for this loco quicker (and probably get it built cheaper).. if not mass produced..
they should get on a plane to China.. theres more money and manu supporters there than anywhere else..
they may even get a fleet of Manchester Uniteds built.

They just might, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for the build quality!

Not all of them. There's the south coast contingent as well. :)

A fleets a good idea, considering your average Man Utd fan only visits Old Trafford once in their lifetime like Mecca, there's potential for multiple tours from varying destinations each Saturday, though I might suggest a higher capacity tender for those loco's bringing in workings from the Shanghai supporters club.

Not so sure about your plan. I know some ManUre fans who've never been to Old Trafford and provably never will. In fact I'm pretty sure they don't even know where it is.

It's quite obvious where Old Trafford is judging by their fanbase, which Surrey postcode does it come under ?.

So does anyone actually know how this project is going? If they were attempting a B17/5....!

Perhaps they should build 'Everton' instead, as one of it's supporters said the other day - 'David Moyes has at last achieved his promise of putting Everton above Man Utd in the Championship'.:)

I've been waiting for that one to pop up................................................. even though you've got the wrong team, in terms of names Liverpool should be the choice :) its nice to see the man Ure in the correct half of the table for a change and long may it continue........................... ;)

I heard that Man U are dropping the 'Red Devils' nickname, they now want to be known as 'Port Talbot' .... Something to do with being between Cardiff and Swansea ... :)

If they called it Birmingham City (spit) they could approach the owner Carsen Yeung for full funding, apparently he has so much money he has to put it through the laundry.:D

Now now Kevin, think yourselves lucky Deadly Doug still had control of AVFC when CY tried to buy your club, Doug saw CY needed to borrow to buy so he vetoed the deal, CY courted the money grubbers at BCFC and they stitched him up well and truly.:):)

I'd forgotten about that Mike. A bullet well dodged. By the way when is Carsen Yeung's next court appearance?

All quiet on that front Kevin, not sure if even the man himself knows, but not to worry BCFC will have run out of money by the time he does appear:(:(

So when Manchester United lose will the loco the next day go also go silent (when they lose, supporters where I work (in deep Sussex) go quiet or hide away to avoid banter).

Chap who works for me is a typical ManUre supporter. Lives 190 miles from the ground. As the events at West Brom unfolded the other Saturday he looked like someone had just told him his puppy had died. Stunned silence. I found it quite funny.
