For those unaware 31206 is visiting the Spa Valley for our Summer Diesel Gala (August 2nd - 4th) and staying for a summer holiday until late October (departing just after our Beer Festival)

Our Summer Gala is proudly sponsored by Visions International who will be releasing another edition of the popular Carry on Clagging series (7) at the event! Joining us on the Saturday and Sunday will be several Buses taking part in our first ever bus rally at Eridge Station.

This is the locos first venture away from Rushden in a few years and we're promising to put on the best show we can, staring alongside will be Class 37 37254, Class 33 33063, Class 73 73140, Class 12 15224, Class 10 D3489, Class 207 DEMU 1317 and Ex Gat Ex Class 489 GLV 489014.

Late Beerex trains on the Friday and Saturday night along with Beer at Eridge station and on the train, a BBQ will be in action at Eridge all three days and timetables will be released shortly.

For all the latest details about our Diesel Gala please visit: http://www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk/events/SUMMER_DIESEL_GALA_2nd_3rd__4th_August/

Plenty of thrash and beer for all!

If its the same beer festival as last year it will a good one, got absolutely plastered there last year, good job my wife was driving home i could"nt find the car let alone drive it, had a fantastic day up to the ninth pint then it all went fuzzy.
Then done something very childish on the way home.
