Around two minutes early passing through Chiswick station. Not sure why Oliver Cromwell is sporting 'The Palatine' headboard?

Nice shots. You've also replied to my post just now on RTC thread. RTT is showing 1Z82 as diesel hauled. Didn't know boxes had a chimney with steam.

I think RTT always shows steam hauled as a box? Doesn't have steam on the software or something like that I presume.

Yes, well my old XP machine reminds me of when I wrote software on steam driven computers. Must be off now to get some shots.

Once she gets on to the Midland route, she'll be on the route of the Palatine, at least in part. Manchester Central to St. Pancras and return.

I can confirm this tour is stem hauled. Here's pic to prove it, http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5466/9222538936_d3ee6b

Anyone hoping to see the A4s note that there are long snaking queues to get in the NRM. The queue for the original entrance is shorter and moving quicker than for the 'new' entrance :)

Looks like just about everyone was wrong side - the guy in the white t-shirt and the two others seen later in the shot. What about you, Shufflemann?

Been thinking the same myself - and about other images/videos from before this thread.

Nearly as likely to cause a steam ban as any spark problems.

Is this tour diesel hauled back? We appear to have Oliver Cromwell going back to Southall WCR on its own early, and the PAX going back later.

I could see that it is a foot crossing, and thanks for the confirmation of the location. I'd be interested to know how the laws of trespass apply. I would expect to need to be the right side of the fence unless I was actually crossing the line.

The return is diesel hauled. No fire risk ban or anything, it was as scheduled.

"I was lawfully crossing this railway line on the public right of way gov, when I stopped because a steam train was coming. While waiting for it to pass I took a picture"

70013 passed through Platform 9 at York about 15 - 20 minutes after the diesel hauled special set off - is it going all the way back to Southall? I presume this is to trim some time off the return trip journey time?
