    I have added some pictures of the Kent & East Sussex Railway to Flickr; they were taken in 2006 when the Lambton Colliery Railway No.29 was visiting from the North Yorkshire Moors. If anyone would like to see them, this is the first one in the Photostream :

    Thanks for sharing these pictures, Ron. You had a lovely day for your visit, I used to live only 30 miles or so from Tenterden, byt I think I was working abroad when No.29 paid a visit. I seem to remember beign a bit disappointed that I couldn't get over to see it. I think that this engine and sister engine No. 5 are two of the most stylish and attractive industrial locomotives to have been preserved.

    I was working on the railway over the gala weekend on which they visited.

    They are great engines and No 29 worked very wel.

    Some Great photos you have got by the way Ron.
