Sorry to raise this again, but has something happened to NYMR shop? I followed the links posted earlier ad they don't take you anyware. Is this my computer as there was a site there a week or so ago. Any help appreciated as I want to invest in some quality footplate ware.

Hello, rather than buying new can anyone help me find a full footplate crew set of overalls including a used footplate bid and brace as well as a footplate jacket to fit a 40-42 inch chest and 34 waist? Condition is relatively unimportant?

How recent is recent, I obtained my first so called greasetop (although we never referred to them as that) cap on starting on the railway in 1949, but really these replicas are just what it says, not quite the same. This type of cap was originally a Midland Railway locomens issue, perpetuated by the LMS and subsequently as a stansard issue by BR
