For aspiring photographers looking for a Christmas present - there is a new publication of O Winston Link images that has recently been published (Lives along the Length ?) and available for £25:00. My request has already gone to Santa via the family by word of mouth. Now to see what I find under the Christmas Tree on December 25th.

Would love a copy of that, but more likely to find something of the 'Great Trains of the World' variety I fear :nono:
Perhaps we need a 'crappest Christmas presents ever' thread? ;)

Didn't we do that? General consensus seemed to be that if it comes from the Bradford Exchange it has more use as a firelighter than as an ornament...

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you send them to landfill, in 40 years time, some mad preservationist will be cursing you because they will have to raise more money to dig them out and send them elsewhere so they can reopen their extension through an infilled railway cutting...

Remember: reduce - reuse - recycle. Since I don't believe products from the Bradford Exchange can be recycled, and surely there is no initial use for them, far less any reuse, then the only option is reduce. Please reduce your purchases of such products
