It is with regeret and apologies that due to unforseen circumstances this evenings photographic event has had to be cancelled. Many apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. I can confirm the b1 has arrived and faces chimney first to Rawtenstall. Tomorrows early morning runpasts will go ahead and the east side of the line was cleared at Burrs yesterday. There was also a lake developed at the line side which will hopefully still be there at weekend.

I take it 1744 has arrived? Shame about the Night shoot, would have loved to see some shots of the two at night! Looking forward to a good weekend though! :)

Very good visit to the gala yesterday.

Seemed to be decent numbers travelling which was good.

    B1, N2 & Super D all in fine voice.

Tank engines were good fun; if somewhat delayed by lack of water at Rawtenstall column.

Many thanks to the crews / all involved.

Wonderful weekend, thanks to all for making it happen, interesting mix of motive power made it well worth attending. Does anyone know if 61306 and 1744 are heading off straight away, or are they staying on for a while which is often the case?

61306 left on Monday; I think 1744 is staying a while longer.

Believe that 1744 is out again this weekend and stays until around the end of November.

1744 only rostered for sunday, the Jinty for Saturday along with D335 according to the ELR website.

1744 is out both days, but on Saturday will only be working the evening Halloween trains. There is very little space on the Halloween trains with over 3,000 passengers booked and only odd seats available.
Sat 47324 and D335 (service trains).........47324 and 1744 on the Halloween trains (with assistance from 20087 and 33109)
Sun 1744 and D335 (service trains).........47324 and 1744 on the Halloween trains (with assistance from 20087 and 33109)
