Midland Railway - Butterley - Steam Event - October 13th & 14th

Pleased to say that Alfred and Judy did a test run today! Ran faultlessly!

 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we've had to alter the timetable for Sunday.
It'll affect the shuttles in the fact that they'll have to go to Hammersmith and not stop at Butterley, however this should give people a longer run with the smaller locomotives!

GVLR book stall is a bit touch and go at the moment. The stall owners wife has been ill so his attendance depends on her feeling better for the weekend. I'm sure you'll agree with me that her well being is more important.

On a lighter note, the event is looking fantastic. Say hello if you see me on the gate at Swanwick over the weekend. I must stress though that access is via Butterley only. Swanwick gates are only manned to catch the freeloaders trying to get a free phototastic day out!
