    Just stick a 2-8-0T on the front and drag the whole lot, the video of 5239 just strolling away with a stricken 34067 and heavy loads shows how capable these things are.

    Great video! But from watching it, they eased the regulator off and then opened it again and it slipped and they did it further along again resulting in a slip, so surely if they hadn't of eased it, it would have been able to get up the bank?

    Am I right to presume that today's Torbay Express will not run due to DBS/Aslef dispute. Being a Sunday, I would think it even more likely to be the case!

    I hope I am wrong though for the sake of the many passengers booked on it.

    Bittern safely up to Chrston this week. Going much better. 25 banking again. Had started to drizzle a few mins before and I thought 'thats all we need' but no problem
