    I have added a small collection of Aspinall Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Class 23 0-6-0T saddletank locos built in the late 19th century
    11470 Horwich works 1939

    Mentioning LYR saddle tanks, does anyone know what's happening with 752 at Haworth, the restoration had been progressing well, but there hasn't been any news, visible progress? for a while now.

    Very peculiar looking engines... what sort of work would they have been used for?

    As you can see a lot of them survived as works shunters
