    Completed in 1906, this is the former North Eastern Railway Head Office in York, up the road from the station just inside the city walls. It's a very impressive building, and is now the Grand Court Hotel

    This featured on BBC Look North a while ago. The interior has been lovingly restored to as near original as possible. It is open to non-residents and well worth a look.........to stay there however is not cheap....
