The 2000 remake, filmed on the Bluebell Railway, used SECR C class 592 and LBSCR E4 473 "Birch Grove", along with the GN Director's saloon and two of the Met Carriages - see http://www.bluebell-railway.co.uk/bluebell/railwaychildren.html and http://www.bluebell-railway.co.uk/bluebell/railwaychildren2.html

There is information about the original film (made at the KWVR), with locations and a list of the rollings tock used, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Railway_Children_(film)

MSC No 70 was still at Mode wheel as a nominal standby engine when the film was made and has never graced the Worth Valley.

MSC 67 was used in the film. Now a resident at the Middleton Railway. Its ticket expires at the end of the year, so if you would like to see it running, come see it quick.

I realise Wikipedia has its detractors but when you "Google" the film's title you appear to get: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Railway_Children_(film). Hope this is of use.

I think Maude also travelled south to the Bluebell for filming of the ITV version.

Pretty sure it was 67. In the film it is the first engine you see arriving at Haworth. 67 used to be based I believe at the KVWR so it would be logical for it to be used.
