    Hi

Would anyone in West Yorkshire be able to to tell me what steam loco is likely to be rostered on the above dates next week ?, me and a friend would very much like to make a visit to travel behind 90733 or 43924 if possible, on the KWVR website i can only find info suggesting 80002 is rostered this week with 957 on Sunday but little info on what might happen next week.

    Thanks in advance.

website normally says whats running at the end of each week, or early part of the week at least. won't be 90733 as its under repair and not expected to be available for the autumn gala.

I would have thought that now that 45212 is back on the KWVR they'd be trying to get as much use as possible out of it, so must be a contender.

My guess is it will either be black 5 or the 4F with 80002 on this week, I think they would prefer to run a smaller engine during the week but the 4F is still running in to some extant, so a full week may be more than what they would like it to do at the moment, saying that it was the standby loco for the last week of the jinty the week before if it had dropped out.

Suspect it may be 45212 as I have just noticed an event for Thursday.
"4th August 1968 was the official 'Last Day of Steam' on British Railways, and it is generally recognised that the LAST locomotive to operate on the LAST day was BR Black Five No. 45212 - which was on duty at Preston station. The locomotive is now owned by the KWVR and to celebrate its unique place in railway history, No. 45212 will be hauling passenger services on the Worth Valley Branch on Thursday 4th August, the 43rd anniversary of the last day of regular main line steam on BR."

45212 is rostered for Monday 1st to Saturday 6th August.
As it stands the 4F is rostered for Sunday 7th along with 957 on the Vintage train. I think the 4F is also rostered for the following week.
