I was wondering if anybody knew when the coaches would be moved up to Fort William, (sorry if this is in the wrong place) as I know the locos will be up on saturday.
    Thanks in advance.

That would make the Jacobite interesting for its first couple of weeks. Cab rides is it? :p

Presumably the stock must go up sometime between now and next Monday. The logical thing would've been to take it up with whatever is going to haul the SRPS tour back next Saturday, but seeing as there's a loco already in Fort Bill, this isn't necessary. I guess it's just a case of keeping an eye out for any timings appearing.

Times now on UKSteam.info. That gets the locos (or one of them, at least) back to FW, but the carriages used will almost certainly be the SRPS's own set and will end up back at Bo'ness at the end of the day. WCRC's stock must be moving up there separately, some time before Mon 16th. It will be interesting to see whether 45231 is fit in time. If not, I guess 61994 will have diesel assistance again, rather like yesterday.

Jacobite ECS expected to be diesel-hauled. 45231 + POB expected to run separately to Stirling to meet 61994 for SRPS tour Sat.

From the West Coast website : - "Network Rail are carrying out modernisation and extensive EU compliance work on both the Cambrian Line and our engines, it was anticipated that work would be complete in time for this years (2011) season.
Unfortunately this will not be the case and our Cambrian route will not run this year. It will however for 2012, we apologise for this inconvenience and disappointment but look forward to welcome all passengers back for 2012 "
