    Cheers. Minor panic when I got home as the image files didn't appear when I put the card into my card reader. Launched my image recovery software and there they were. Panic over and blood pressure back to normal.

    What happened in the painting of the number 2 on the buffer beam? Looks decidedly odd. Presumably no transfers exist after 70 odd years.

    There has been a great deal of discussion about this on another more informed site. It is apparently correct to the original LNER works drawings..............the cabside numbers, particularly 2 shows similar traits...

    Yep missed it. She missed out Gascoigne Wood and continued along the ECML. She looked well from about a mile away !!!!!

    From the films I've seen Bittern / Dominion of New Zealand looks immaculate. The coaching stock also looks like its had a makeover ?
