    On Wednesday 30th March 2011, the Churnet Valley Railway will launch it's 4th share issue with one of the main aims being the funding of a new tea room at Cheddleton.

    Two steam hauled trains will run on the day to Cauldon Lowe departing from Kingsley & Froghall at 1030 and 1300. Tickets are on sale to the general public at £10 each with anyone purchasing shares on the day receiving free travel.

    All facilities at K&F including the tea room and shop will be open on the day.

    A very busy day at CVR today with an extremely large number of people buying shares. It was very encouraging to see so many people showing support for us.
