    Thank you for posting. I used to do a lot of my spotting at Cheadle Hulme after Longsight Station closed. The fence in the goods yard was a good spot. This accident caused a lot of bad feeling in Manchester towards BR, a lot of children were killed.

    Two children were killed; two too many, but not "a lot". Are this and other train accidents prone to urban myths?
