Swanage Railway have received the Old Oak Common Turntable

    Anyone know where they'll put it? They already have a 50ft turntable at Swanage so I wondered if they will put it near Norden or Furzebrook and aim to run a chimney leading event (if only with smaller locos).

    I believe the intention is to use it for mainline loco's, so will be situated nearer Swanage if appropriate land can be purchased.

    It will be located wherever space can be found. It will be use to turn locos and coaches.
