Today has been a good day, where we can look to the future at last, and how our group will be helping the EVR in their future plans......

Many thanks to the friends that made this possible...

    Cheers

    Simon.

Looking forward to boarding at Duffield next year as I can easily catch the train from Leicester to Sheffield service and get off at the mainline station.

Glad to hear the 8F and Duke will be going to a good home.
I worked on Duke as a volunteer fireman at Peak Rail and she was a good steamer. Shame she was sidelined and left to rot by those in charge at Peak Rail. I was also involved mid way through the 8F restoration in between footplate duties.
