Yes! Near the curve, down towards the bridge. He ought to pack in.
You must have gone down the path there and poked it through the fence?

Do you think people who do this sort of thing realise that by doing tricks like this they are giving the powers that be good reason for stopping steam/diesel tours on the mainline......It will only take one serious incident and I think that will be the end......I was at Frodsham on Sunday for Lizzie and people were on the bottom end of the Chester-bound platform where its level with the track and leaning into the track and taking pictures....And after the stewards told them too move for the fourth or fifth time, they did move but calling the stewards allsorts as you can imagine........I really felt sorry for the chaps that were doing the job.....Besides, look at the quality of the Pics and vids on here taken without trespassing....personally i doubt these trespassers could even dream of getting anywhere near as good, as what i have seen on here lately!!!

That made me remember, last year when I did that location with 6233 somebody was stood down on the tracks at the last minute ovbiously a common occurrence for him.

And typical Stuart the day I'm away and you get decent weather... Lol

Yes it was a good day for the Flyer, train full with only a few empty seats with no shows and good weather as well. We even had one family of 5, eldest youngster about 8, armed with buckets and spades, proper old fashioned family day out to the seaside. Spoke to them on the way home, they had really enjoyed it.

I saw 6233 through Sandbach this morning, running a couple of minutes early. I had planned to go to Edge Hill to see 5690, but as uksteam was showing it as diesel to Preston, I decided to try for the Scarborough Flyer instead. I made it to Sandbach with about 30 seconds to spare, and in the rush forgot to set up the camera properly, so it was still set for full sun from yesterday! Still, something should be salvageable, the joys of digital.

Here she is climbing the last few yards to Standedge Tunnel at the "dark side" Marsden, deepest Yorkshire. Had my passport with me ! The light had completely gone ! Not sure this was worth the midge bites ! Think i've got malaria !
