    Got a letter from RTC today saying that the Sou'Western tour in Oct is now cancelled. Reason given being the non availability of Oliver Cromwell and the uncertainty over the eventual appearance of Britannia. They hope to be able to reschedule the tour for May next year.

    Well that is a big shame, 6233 to Stirling it is then.

    I hope the Cornishman on the 19th September has not also been caped as that would of been the perfect travel down to Liskeard for 9466's trips down to Looe.

    but is the solo effort for 5029 nunney castle over the devon banks to par still happening on the 19th september still happening.i feel a big disappointment looming after waiting since march 2005 5051's epic trip.i've heard this is not going to happen, even though its a gw anniversary!!!!!???

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    At this point we need to be careful . There are rumours circulating but nothing is confirmed . 5029 website seemed to delist it and yet still talks about it in their notes and the highpoint of the connection with the Looe trains would be magical . Let us hope until officially confirmed it is still on
