Soon to be starting, seemingly all sold out, will this be Leanders first run?, now that leander has appeared at Carnforth, just wondering if it will be pressed into service immediately, although there are now 3/4 capable loco's in the pool, providing Leander will be running soon.

The choice given on UKSteam.info is 44932/45690/46115/48151:
44932 is running a Cath Ex to Caterbury
    48151 is going to Ffestiniog
So choice of Leander or Scots Guardsman. Depends whether current "fettling" is complete on Leander yet.

well 48151 was outside the shed today as 46233 took water, and 5690, smoking, was hooked up to 44932 and both shunted into the shed, then I left, 48151 may well allready be in york or be leaving very soon. thanks, hadn't noticed the cathedrals express next thursday.

you beat me to it, 44932 left early hours this morn, 48151 wed morning early, water at Preston + first pick up. 5690 test run this eve or early morn to verify ftr on fellsman. so the rumours go. 46115 still at York, thinks: if 5690 fails, what then, 46115 ? no times or route.

There were suggestions that 46115 had a hot box which may preclude it .

Excellent images but for guidance - location between Rinington and Gisburn I have been advised as Gisburn Coates; location north of Garsdale is usually referred to as Lunds.

Video clearly shows 47760 actively banking train on northbound journey; was this to ease the pressure on 5690 as it stills needs a little fettling ?

Thanks Fred for the info. about Gisburn Coates, I didn't know that and it's good to have the correct name for future use. For some reason I'm unable to make a 'reply with quote', system just hangs.
