Good one Oli but did you take one a bit earlier showing more of the exhaust?

Thanks for the comments Ralph. I did take one slightly earlier, but it had the side of the OLE right next to the smokebox. Even though shot posted is a little closer to camera, to have the rods nearly down compared to other, i was willing to compensate a little of the exhaust. Never thought i would be saying that in summer!!!

    Cheers

Cheers. Thats my one day of luck in my lifetime gone, as i was seconds away from being bowled out by a southbound pendo. After hearing and witnessing her approach from the distance, i would not have been a happy chappy if i had missed out on getting Lizzie in all her glory.

Thanks Mark for comments and updates direct from train on saturday. They came in very usefull, and enough to make us worry when you text us that you had left Euston and a sudden swarm of pendos in the area seemed to appear more frequent than before!!

    Thanks again mate
