    A very unusual tour running from Severn Valley metals to the bright lights of Blackpool. This tour has the added attraction of some steam assistance from 9600 up Old Hill bank (Stourbridge to Bescot), plus it takes in the Shrewsbury to Chester line which has been devoid of steam for a while.
    This is a joint venture between the Severn Valley Railway association and the Railway Touring Company which is handling bookings. Regrettably I won't be able to do this as i'm on The Cornishman a couple of weeks before and the SVR gala is the previous weekend. Given it's the other half's birthday around then as well and we're due to go on (a rather expensive) honeymoon at the end of October I risk early divorce!
