The first two pics of 7715 are at Quainton Rd , first (64927395) on the Down Yard demonstration line, looking from Up Yard towards buffer depot, second (64927398)at the front of the Down Yard Restoration Building. Second must be fairly early as the Redland diesel is still in yellow.

The last pair of pics of 7715 (64927421/5) are in Platform Three (again in Down Yard at Quainton Rd), before my time working there, the signals shown were I believe taken out of use by the mid 70s.

 

Both of these are Highley on the SVR:

Possibly Norchard low level on the Dean Forest Railway?

 

3738 is at Didcot - on one of the turntable dead-end roads.
5764 looks like Buckfastleigh.
5786 could this be Hereford?
7752 looks like Tyseley.

At Tyseley:

7752 - currently GWR green but will emerge in steam in London Transport L94 livery at our open day in June.
7760 - currently Great Western green - awaiting overhaul
9600 - currenly BR black with a mainline ticket - good for another 9(ish) years.

 

What are the plans for L94 once operational? Is 7760 still for sale?

 

We really don’t have too many plans for L94 as yet - it is the 40th anniversary of the demise of steam on LT this year, so it seemed fitting to get 7752 out - she doesn't requite that much work, so it's not too daunting a task. No mainline plans for her as of yet.

7760 is officially up for sale, but there do not seem to be too many takers in this financial climate.

 

SO maybe a pairing with L99?

 

Not rulling anything out! We will see what develops in the next few months.
