Good video, just a pity that she hesitated in the middle of the pan before carching up again.....

70013 passing Harringay in full gloom this morning and steaming out a 365 on the fast line. Very nearly bowled by it!

Yes it was a bit close! In a way I regret going to Harringay as she was stuck behind an all stations stopper and shut off as she approached. However the preceding train was a Hertford service so it was out of the way at Ally Pally and 70013 could be heard accelerating away, even from Harringay station a mile and a half away. Still, needs must when it's due through at 08.50 and you start work at 09.00!

The Police believed 8000-10000 people turned out and the town has a population less than that.
It was a very emotional day for many people and a sight I never thought would happen.

Now Kevin, fancy a holiday by the sea with some of Tyseley's steeds?

Looks like our eyes are fixed firmly towards the West for the rest of this year.:)
I suppose you could always send an invite to Mr. Meanley.

Great to see a huge turnout at Sheringham yesterday.

Pic taken in the morning (funnily enough at Harringay too) will be uploaded later this afternoon. We were very close to missing out wern't we 5944. Like you said maybe wished had gone that little bit further north to ally pally...but there is always a next time. Were you the person who turned up just before the brit passsed through, as i never got to say hi to one perrson?

    Oli

Oli, yep that was me. I went there a few months ago for 60163 so knew it would be ok for a shot, so didn't bother turning up earlier.
