    Video from Yesterday at:

Bradford on Avon, Avoncliff, Trowbridge, and Edington. The loco was shut-off in the morning, (didn’t get the usual signal check approaching BoA) but driver Poole was working the loco hard in the evening. See the sparks fly as the loco is working to recover time after a check at Westbury to wait for a FGW HST.

    Negative Posting

Why exaggerate a "negative" posting, buseng? If you haven't got anything on the more positive to post , then my personal advice is don't bother. Railtour Companies, like any other business's, are stretched at the moment and I am sure they do not want the negatives exaggerated in any form and posted and thrown back in their faces. Look for the positives.

    Regards SteamHawk216.

PS. Not aimed at simon, just that I clicked on his last posting, and anyway the username of buseng(perhaps he/she would rather take the BUS) was at the start of my posting in the first place.

I'm just curious as to whom the above post is meant for as it looks to me to be aimed at simon who was NOT the originator of the "OK nearly empty might be an exaggeration, but certainly not full." comment.

Thanks, I was somewhat surprised to see that as I had made several posts indicating I had evidence to the contrary

Here we go again! Mud slinging by people who have nothing better to do. How sad can you get. I merely pointed out an observation which I corrected. As for my user name, I don't need idiots like you making fun of it! It is my choice. What if I told you to go bird watching or something (Hawk)? No wonder people are leaving this forum & looking at the "other" one.

Obviously I rather not mention names on here, but run by a well known loco engineer up north who owns several high profile locos.

    "other" one?

Don't mind you "telling me to go bird-watching" at all. Have done so for years since my late father taught me British Birds from when I was six yrs. old. I have been an active Twitcher since 1990, although not so much now as not so active on aging legs and back. Hawk does originate from my love of birds and was always my Username in the early days of computer gaming. I didn't intend to get under your skin, just wish positives were highlighted, as simon did, pleased he enjoyed the tour, and not the negatives. Simple.

    Regards SteamHawk216.

I know this is a bit late but here is the sound from the above departure. Best with headphones but noise from M4 at start. Bittern on good form here though and worth a listen.

Photos of "The Valentine's Express" on my fotopic site.

    Hello All,

    I have uploaded two photos of Class A4 4-6-2 60019 BITTERN and her Support Corridor Brake First Coach 17013 BOTAURUS as they reverse back up through Bristol Temple Meads after hauling "The Valentine's Express" from Paddington Station, to my fotopic site, Link below;

    http://preservedrailwaylocomotivephotosbyrichardsmith.fotopic.net/c1816743.html

Their arrival, I am sorry to say I missed, as they pulled in thirteen minutes early and I was still casually finishing an Americano Coffee in the WH Smith Bar on Platform 3. You can be just too laid back sometimes.

Anyway hope those who view, enjoy.

    Best regards SteamHawk216.

Apologies for the lateness - just got round to working on my shot of 60019. The light was truely awful at Crofton, so I decided to go the moody B&W route
