    Will depend what is like for the whole route though won't it. Not sure of the rain levels in the Midlands compard to your area.

    Whole route is still red fire risk so diesel required by Network Rail.

    Exactly, although I noticed on the video linked above that they really opened the Scot up as she got onto the mainline, perhaps a footplate crew grasping a rare opportunity to open her up on the mainline...

    Yeah I noticed that 71000 went solo from Southall to the WSR a day or two ago.
