    I said nothing of the sort, but the net zero zealots here seem to be claiming that since we are importing oil and gas, then the pollution is not on our tab, or don't you understand that simple premise?

    If you are burning oil or gas, whether imported or not, then the pollution caused is definitely on your tab. Why should it not be?

    You haven't noticed then that hot dry weather and extreme weather are becoming much more frequent? Ask Simon Martin on this forum whether climate change is happening.

    Frequency of occurrence is not the same as specific causation of a single event.

    Weather events don't have a specific causation. Weather is a far more complicated phenomenon than that.
