Cheapness is relative, affordability is absolute.
Seriously, once corrections to product or price are made it takes a couple of years for word of mouth to completely reverse the damage. This based on observations of past situations.

Today, I was on Pickering station for 20 minutes or so today and at least five people with family groups were trying to decipher the timetables. (I would like to see a clear large departure board displayed together with the full timetable, as the present set up is confusing). They all asked me which trains were steam. I pointed them to the roster and they made various comments about diesels everywhere but hardly any steam. One black five was out today but I couldn't say with any confidence which trains would be steam tomorrow. I suggested the best bet would be 1200 but they wanted the 0920 and for it to be steam.

The answer is a five letter word - steam.

On a positive note, Pickering was very busy and the trains seemed well patronised.
