Featuring Aspinall LYR Class 21 0-4-0ST 'Pug' 11243 on driver experience duties, Aspinall L&YR Class 27 0-6-0 52322, Aspinall class 23 0-6-0ST 11456 (The Class 23 0-6-0ST locomotives were initially built in 1876–87 by L&Y locomotive superintendent Barton Wright as a class of 280 0-6-0 tender engines. 230 of these were rebuilt as saddle tanks at Horwich Works by Aspinall between 1891 and 1900. Rebuilt as saddle tank in 1896 11456 was sold to coal industry 1937; owned now by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Trust,
D8069 was doing the diesel roster for the day.
11456 & 52322 ran double headed while i was there

11243 'Pug' was doing driver experience trips in and around Bury station for the day

D8069 Looking decidedly ropey with rust holes on the front of the cab, and needing a repaint, (and before anyone says anything i know this is how the owners are running it at the moment having concentrated on making it a runner for the earlier this year ELR diesel gala)

If you like there photos there is a phone can video of 11234 running along P3 at Bury drowned out by the engine noise of class 20 D8069 along with lots more photos of the day
