    Annual event has been announced and visitors confirmed, always a good day out for the narrow minded amongst us. Weather forecast changes by the day but Friday and Saturday currently look the best, wet all day Sunday; link:

    By complete coincidence we were passing yesterday on the A66, so it seemed rude not to pop on for a couple of hours.

    A very friendly and relaxed railway. I understand this was Glyder's first passenger trains in preservation.

    We chose to go Friday for the better forecast (no rain), it remained overcast for most of the day. Quiet in the morning, few more in after lunch, but it was a weekday.
