The only changes I can see are:
    • Saturday 0815 Kidderminster - Bridgnorth is just 7714, rather than 7714 with D8568 on the rear
    • Sunday 0900 Kidderminster- Bridgnorth has D821 leading rather than 20048

The accessible open on set N? Double doors not at the KR end i.e. normal seating nearest the end of the train.

From the photos doing the rounds elsewhere on the internet and social media, it got rather intimate with the roller shutters on the front of Bridgnorth shed.

That was why Alun Rees always refused to have doors fitted so for years the staff had to work during winter in a refrigerated wind tunnel!

Sad to hear about HB3. Assuming there was no possibility to have swapped one of the other visitors onto the northern end shuttle with a regular at the southern end? Just seems again like there's another gala where two visiting engines are confined to Bewdley to Kidderminster shuttles only (Judy and Pug in Spring) .

Looks like the two visitors are double heading the Kidderminster shuttle, rather than toping and tailing.

Neither of them could haul the N(4) train weight of the North end local, and assisting in rear is not preferred if we can avoid.

OK - thanks. Not necessarily for this gala but going forwards - would loadings indicate that the north end shuttle needs four coaches? Intuitively seems quite excessive when previously it's been two iirc (eg. visit of Terrier couple of years back). Fully appreciate there are also other concerns around Erdington, water consumption, etc. particularly with smaller engines.

Just detracts from the rest of the line somewhat in having the main attractions all confined to one part of it rather than spread out. Am confident you've already factored this in and have it to mind but it's certainly not ideal.

I think had everything gone to plan and Holly Bank No.3 been working too, then they'd have had both ends of the line covered with visiting engines so that was plan A and having all the visitors at the Kidderminster end is just unfortunate circumstances due to loco problems. I thought the original timetable looked pretty good in its balance and had been looking forward to the little Hunslet uphill on 4 coaches and a trailing diesel.

I am not disagreeing with this at all and agree that it looked a nice balance had everything worked out.
