The support crew were saying that she had received a new 7 year ticket last year.

I'm just waiting for her to come back, for some rain to fall, then I'm gonna be booking myself some trips!

Aware that I'm resurrecting a thread that was last active a mere 16 years ago here, but I thought it was better than starting a new one with the same title...

I'm doing some research into the preservation history of 34067, and having worked back chronologically, things start to become unclear in 2007, around the time she transferred to West Coast.

Can anyone help with the following questions please?

When did she transfer from being based at Stewarts Lane to Old Oak Common?
When did she transfer from being based at Old Oak Common to Southall?
When did the Green Train transfer from being based at Stewarts Lane to Southall?

34067 was using Southall from at least July 2007, but I think she may have still used Stewarts Lane on occasion after this. She went to Carnforth for repair work, between October-December 2007, and seems to have been permanently at Southall when she returned South.

The Green Train was acquired by West Coast from FM Rail in February 2007. It seems to have used Stewarts Lane for stabling/servicing until at least September 2007. I think it may have moved in mid/late-September, but confirmation would be appreciated.

I have a feeling that both 34067 and the Green Train were permanently Southall-based by late 2007, but it would be useful if anyone can help with narrowing the dates down as I'm trying to work out various ECS moves in 2007 (sadly often unlisted on UKSteam or Six Bells Junction).

Many thanks in advance for any information anyone can help with!

I can't really help other than to say that for a period after the change of ownership the loco continued to be operated by EWS which is why, at the time, the loco was reported as bought by "a friend of David Smith". I presume there was a contractual obligation to be fulfilled and the actual new ownership might have been problematical for some reason, perhaps trade union orientated.
