    I understand that work on the North Bridge Street Level Crossing will commence on 27th July. I have seen a copy of a letter from the contractor [Road Ways] to local residents.

    Works description: Working alongside Rother Valley Railway to excavate the carriageway for the installation of a new train track across the carriageway. Ducting works and reinstatement of road and footpath after new tracks installed.

    It gives dates of Jul 27 - Aug 17 with a road closure in place, though I'm not sure if that means the road is closed continuously or only when required.
