I can't put a date to it as she regularly attended the steam rallies at the Leigh Arms, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was getting on for 20 years ago.

So with 90002 taking the train back to London Euston from Carlisle, did 60532 return to Crewe light engine?

Very nice David. I would have liked to get further up than Helwith Bridge myself, but coming from Newsholme I don't think I would have made it. When i got to Helwith Bridge it was already well on the way.

Looks like a mammoth itinerary, taking in the West Highland line with an overnight stay at Fort William on Saturday, at/near Glenfinnan on Sunday, then up to Rannoch and back to overnight at Kilmarnock on Monday, returning to Euston on Tuesday. All the workings are on RTT, too numerous to list here.

Is there any clues which legs, if any, will be steam hauled?

Looks like just Crewe to Hellifield and the ECS from Hellifield to Upperby.

Headcode being 1Z29, possibly 5029 having a trip along the S&C?

That would be an interesting choice, although didn't someone post its off to the WSR for working to Torbay soon?
I wondered if 70000 might make its reappearance on the posh job.

Could well be, the stop at Chatburn Overbridge 65 is common for steam to top up.

This would be the West Highland tour that was mentioned in the press release recently. According to that, Flora the bubble car will be doing Fort William - Glenfinnan and return. No idea about the steam sections though.
