    I don't recall seeing it in any events listing previously, and certainly it was mooted that the event would be rested this year, but I see from the Mail Rail newsletter that Railways at Work will be taking place on July 25th & 26th. No event page on the website for it at the moment that I can see.

    The Ellis Shed Cafe at Rothley is to be retained by the GCR and run as a visitor centre and cafe using volunteers according to the latest GM Update. It will be good to have it back in operation.

    attached you will find two videos, which I made in May 2026. The first part is about the GCR Nottingham with visiting LNER 60103 "Flying Scotsman". The second part is about the Loughborough to Leceister North section which I visited on the same day. Enjoy watching the videos.

    Nice video, and no need to apologise for captioning in German; we should be happy that you made the trip over to visit!
    In the GCRN video, you've mis-captioned the diesel as D1854, it is actually D8154.
