Sentinel gala at Chasewater Railway on 5/6 September.

 

Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway - Steam Gala - 26th 27th and 28th June 2026.

Kirklees Light Railway/Whistlestop Valley Steam and Diesel Gala - 12th and 13th Sept 2026

 

Not sure if it had been mentioned anywhere on here but just seen the Mid Norfolk Railway Steam Gala that was planned for May has been cancelled.

Update on the Steam Gala Plans for 2026

 

The September event could even be an ex Mountain Ash event with Haulwen, Rennes, Llantarnam Abbey and 7754 all currently operational having previously worked there.

 

Anyone know if Tanfield gala happening next weekend please ?
Website says timetable coming soon ( as it has for several weeks ) and special guest to be announced ( which I’ve know since Easter what it should be if it has gone /is going).
