44871 was due to work back from Leicester to Carnforth yesterday but seems to still be at Leicester TMD.

 

It got a hotbox on the tender. It's got to wait for a road recovery.

 

Is that the same defect which prevented it going with 5407 for the GB a few weeks ago?

 

Not sure, its only just come back from maintenance. Apparently it ran a little warm on Friday so not a massive shock.
