    Announced on the R&ER Facebook page that Sir Arthur Heywood (which is based on Northern Rock) from the Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway will be visiting. It will be on display over the weekend, subject to testing, on a wagon behind Northern Rock.

    A lovely Gala Saturday, with Katie and Sian looking very much at home. I'm not sure I ever saw them at Fairbourne as a kid, so was great to catch up with them. Very attractive engines!

    Enjoyed the gala on the Sunday. Great to see the fleet in action. Rode behind the Heywood Katie back from Dalegarth which was entertaining. Something a little different and managed to bag the front seat too!
    Very much enjoyed seeing the engines in miniature on the 09 layout in the museum too. Great event!
