    Visited Rhyl today with newly overhauled Billie working double headed with Joan. Billie makes four active Barnes locos (Joan, Billie, Michael and Railway Queen) with a fifth (Billy) on display. Billie was last used for passengers at Dudley Zoo and returned to use on Sunday prior to their gala on 23/24 Sept.

    Thanks for sharing this news and the fab photos!
    It’s been 4 years since I last had a ride round the Marine Lake. I used to be a regular visitor with my family in the 1950s and 1960s. What an amazing line it was and still is. Those Barnes locos are splendid.

    All six Rhyl built Albert Barnes & Co. 4-4-2 locomotives are now reunited and based on the Rhyl Miniature Railway
