It's already had a go at racing 13268 at Ramsbottom! It didn't win, but I'll give ten out of ten for effort!

No I do not currently volunteer
    With 1450 and 4150 running it's just a shame 1054 hasn't been booked for a three-way anagram opportunity

Excuse the slightly stupid question but it makes the difference for 1 or a 2 day visit in my case. - does the Pug and Judy run on the Thursday of the gala?

Everything runs every day. Except 13268 which is not out Thursday.

Latest SVR news states it became obvious early in the new year that 4150 won't be ready for the Spring Gala (despite a big push) and they are now targeting early summer.

On a selfish note 4110 from the East Somerset would make a nice replacement as I haven't seen that in steam yet!

Website loco line up now updated to reflect 4150 won't be ready.

Have you been hovering over the webpage?! Only just got updated haha. Only came out of our gala meeting a short time ago!

Yes sadly it hasn’t been for the want of trying, but an external issue has meant the loco just can’t be done in time. Shame because it’s so close. However that does mean we’ve jsut discussed plans for Autumn to give it a first proper gala and I think those plans will be well loved!

    Back to Spring -
    - Timetable approved and would imagine it will be published this week or early next.
    - Some very interesting loco pairings to look forward to, and perhaps a triple header or two!
    - Further to my post about loco directions a few weeks back I can confirm 71000 will face South; and all the others remain as per the above.
    - We are using almost all of our operational fleet of coaches again, so we are maximising capacity as best we can.
    - Brakevan rides on goods trains should be available Thursday and Sunday.

Sounds very enticing that! What's the deal there then, pre-booked, first come first served, extra charge? Is it the full loose-coupled set, or a fitted subset?

Pre-Booked. I’ll try work out when the bookings go live and let people know.

Will be the GW loose coupled vehicles. Anticipating about 160 tons of train I think

Please excuse my geographical ignorance but when you say loco direction South is that boiler or tender leading out of Kidderminster?
    Thanks
    Neil

Looks like the only guest loco to reach Bridgnorth is DOG?
