Two very enjoyable days on Friday and Saturday. First time I've done a Friday rather than a Sunday and certainly eeasier to get to by public transport. Not sure if I can make the diesel gala but definitely will try for next year's steam gala.

The giveaway is that 52044 still has her Barton-Wright smokebox door, rather than the Hughes one fitted a few years ago. Personally, I think the old one looked far better, but maybe that's just me...!

My own offerings from across the weekend. Great to see trains well populated throughout the event, always a must-do in the calendar for myself each year!

The 37 led the consist away from Keighley, both steam locos were still facing south.

A fantastic weekend, I managed to visit on Thursday and Saturday so here's my video. For anyone who just wants to hear the castle I suggest jumping to 15:47 where its climbs the bank from Damems, note that the clip starts with it leaving Damems loop.

    A couple of photos too.

I'm a bit late but here's some of my pics from Sunday, mostly from the footpath alongside Keighley bank as it's one of my favourite photo spots :)
Had a lovely time as always, Worth Valley galas never fail to disappoint :D
