    Going well so far. Left 10 minutes late from King's Cross due to late arrival of ECS, now it's stuck behind an all stations to Welwyn service.

    The brave few up at an ungodly hour to join the tour at 0542 from Kings Cross for a less than 100 min stay in Whitby, at least the sunshine made a welcome appearance!

    I saw it at Danby at 1523. All was fine.

    Last year I recall it didn’t report till Middlesbrough on the return run

    The Whitby Flyer on 18th March 2026 captured leaving Whitby, and on the gradients past Egton Bridge and Lealholm Stations - the return leg - and hauled by 45407
