    I'm sure your heart is in the right place but you've also misrepresented who is behind the fundraiser twice on the GFM. I dont know you even do that.

    That makes me very uncomfortable - with very nasty words like "fraud" and "misrepresentation" coming uncomfortably rapidly to mind.

    So let me get this straight, you are behind the Go Fund Me? Is this more of your fantasy preservation? Why are you using false names? It seems fishy to say the least, misleading at best.

    On another subject why have you created another account? Members are only permitted to one account but you now have two? I suggest if it is because you have lost the password or something that you PM me sharpish as this account will be disappearing in the next 24 hours on the basis you have one already. I don’t mind helping if it’s a password or similar issue but out of two accounts only one will be remaining.

    And the mystery Sabrina appears in Stuart's FB friend list. The account itself is a clear roleplay account who's only railway based page follow is this project. Even the profile pic on GFM looks like Stuart with Snapchat filters working hard.

    Without comment on what you have or haven't achieved with your own money, you are asking people for money in a GoFundMe. The least they're entitled to is absolute honesty about who they are investing in and what their plan is if the fundraising is successful.

    When I was still in nappies, a line preservation project got into trouble and failed. The way it had gone about things discredited railway preservation in the area for decades after.

    We're allowed to fail, but not if we're careless with other peoples' money. Appeals like this are a repository of some really deep hopes and expectations - see post #1410 for an example of that.
