The project to restore and reopen the 15 inch gauge railway at haigh hall, wigan is coming on well and to this end the Haigh woodland railway association have launched an appeal to restore a pair of 1914 pattern Hudson victory skips for use on the railway in both practical and demonstration use, this work is being undertaken by a contractor and with some volunteer imput.
To this end they are seeking to raise £1500 with the promise of matchfunding if this is achieved
